Thiago Negrão Chuba, a Biomedical Sciences graduate from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School at the University of São Paulo, and a holder of an MBA in Health Innovation Management from the Butantan Institute, is currently undertaking his doctorate at Kyoto University’s Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability (Shishukan), where he also received his Master’s degree. He completed a doctoral internship at the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) in Rio de Janeiro, gaining expertise in technological maturity and intellectual property. With extensive research experience in material science and biotechnology, and significant participation in the Junior Enterprise Movement, Thiago currently focuses on studying innovation systems and intellectual property in universities in developing countries.
